We are delighted to announce that Thomas Hagmann will join a-connect as Client Service Partner and member of our Leadership Team in September 2026.
Thomas brings more than 20 years of experience as both an executive and advisor. He helps companies define strategic direction, unlock growth, and translate ambition into tangible business results. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Partner at Innosight, the growth strategy and innovation consultancy founded by Clayton Christensen. There, he advised CEOs, leadership teams, boards, and owners on growth strategy, innovation, strategic transformation, and new business models.
Before joining Innosight, Thomas was a Partner at EY-Parthenon. Earlier in his career, he led Barry Callebaut’s global CARMA business as Managing Director and worked as an Investment Manager at Jacobs Holding. Together, these roles give him a distinctive blend of consulting, operating, and ownership experience. This background aligns strongly with a-connect’s hands-on, senior-led approach to client work. In addition, Thomas brings particular experience across Food & Consumer, ingredients, industrial businesses, and family-owned companies. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations define long-term growth ambitions, accelerate innovation, strengthen governance, and turn strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.
Thomas’s arrival further strengthens an area that has long been central to a-connect’s work with clients: helping organizations achieve transformative growth and execute critical business initiatives. Building on this foundation, we will continue to develop our Growth & Innovation capabilities. These capabilities complement our existing strengths across Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Operational Excellence, Transformation Acceleration, and Post-Transaction Management. In addition, Thomas will contribute to the continued development of our Private Equity & Family-Owned Business activities. He will also support broader capabilities in areas such as innovation governance, value creation, and AI-enabled transformation.
What attracted Thomas to a-connect is the same principle that continues to define our firm: we combine deep expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and a fantastic community of experienced independent consultants to deliver meaningful impact for our clients.
