Agribusiness, Food, Chemicals
Our Agribusiness, Food and Chemicals (AFC) clients span a broad range of industry segments, from the very upstream production of basic and advanced materials to end products that focus on businesses and the consumer. We support clients across business areas ranging from R&D, manufacturing & production, central support functions to customer facing operations, and deliver strong project management and subject matter expertise in business development, post-merger integration and other critical change initiatives.
A significant portion of our projects are for Private Equity (PE) owned companies in a wide range of industries. We mostly support our PE clients in driving performance improvements. Our engagements start from 100-day programs to turnarounds, cost reduction initiatives, operational projects such as pricing and procurement, to larger transformations. We also support portfolio companies with integrating add-on acquisitions. All with a relentless focus on value creation and impact.
How we work
With any project, the first point of contact will be Client Service. This is the team responsible for winning new business, meeting with clients, assessing their requirements and scoping projects.
Once these requirements are finalised, they will brief our teams in Talent and Global Functions. Our Talent team will then source the appropriate consultant for the project either among our existing network of independent professionals (IPs) or externally. Our Global Functions team meanwhile will handle contracts and provide the independent professionals with logistical support once the project is up and running.
At all times, the Client Service team will coordinate with the client to ensure the project is on track. By ensuring key milestones are met, they ensure the success of every one of our engagements.
