Driving global growth from Latin America

Precision Farming within animal nutrition was a core growth pillar for our client a global human and animal nutrition company’s global nutrition business unit. Our task was to tailor the strategy needed for Latin America. This included locating and completing the acquisition of a suitable agtech start-up in the area.

  • Assessing commercial and operational synergies at both regional and global levels
  • Assessing the main future value creation levers
  • Developing a first high-level buyer´s business case
  • Consolidating all findings into a non-binding bid memo, for presentation and approval by the Executive Committee and board

Following the executive approval of the deal and due diligence, our client successfully acquired the targeted agtech start-up. We are now working with them to ensure a smooth integration and synergies capture over the next 18 months.
